Flat Stanley is a children's book written by Jeff Brown. In the book, Stanley is flattened by a bulletin board and discovers one advantage of being flat is that he can be mailed to California. My niece Ava's first grade class made some Flat "Stanleys" to mail out and have adventures throughout the school year, and learn about the different places Stanley goes to visit.
Ava's Flat Stanley started his adventure at our house in San Antonio, TX. His next stop will be Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, and Ooogurut Island, five miles off shore in the Arctic Ocean. I wonder where he'll go from there?
